So, what is invertsukker?

Invertsukker, also known as inverted sugar syrup, is a viscous liquid sweetener that is made by breaking down sucrose into its constituent glucose and fructose molecules. This process results in a syrup that is sweeter than regular sugar, with a smooth texture and a mild caramel-like flavor. Invertsukker is often used in baking and confectionery, as it helps to improve texture and extend shelf life. It is also used in the production of beer and other fermented beverages, as it provides a source of fermentable sugars that can be easily metabolized by yeast.
