So, what is sucre complet?

Sucre complet, also known as whole cane sugar or raw sugar, is an unrefined sugar that retains its natural molasses and mineral content. This sugar is made by boiling the juice extracted from sugarcane, evaporating the water, and then crystallizing the remaining syrup. Unlike white sugar, which is heavily processed and stripped of nutrients, sucre complet contains trace amounts of iron, calcium, and potassium. It also has a distinct caramel-like flavor and a slightly coarser texture, making it a popular choice in baking and cooking. Due to its minimally processed nature, sucre complet is considered a healthier alternative to refined sugar.
